In 2025, the Company has allocated R&D budget averaging 0.1% of annual revenue, focusing on developing Sustainable Innovation covering the following key areas:
1) Green Product Innovation
- Developed "LINK ZERO™" - Thailand's first carbon-reduced communication cable with Carbon Footprint tracking system, targeting EPD for all series by 2027
- Research and development of new generation Fiber Optic cables that can reduce material usage and CO₂ emissions by at least 30% compared to previous versions
- Designed packaging using recycled materials and reduced printing ink to support circular economy
2) Energy Management and Production Process Innovation
- Installed Smart Warehouse & Solar Monitoring system to integrate solar energy usage data with warehouse management system
- Research and development of AI Load Optimization system to improve cable and rack management efficiency, reducing transportation load and waste
- Developed Digital Twin system for real installation simulation, helping reduce resource usage in design and planning stages
3) Inclusive Technology Innovation
- Design and develop products according to Universal Design principles to accommodate all user groups
- Implemented "Digital for All" project to promote access to digital technology in remote communities, benefiting more than 10,000 people
4) Innovation Enhancement through Collaboration
- Collaborate with research institutes, universities, and private sector in developing communication cable technology and new innovations
- Developed DE-PACK PRO project - industrial product destruction machine to support circular economy concepts at industrial level
- Established "R&D & Communication Tech Institute" as a center for knowledge cultivation and innovation in communication cables and green technology
